Representatives of NGO Tribunal took part in a high-level parliamentary roundtable, “Atrocity Crimes – Prevention, Justice, Victim Support,” held on 29 January 2026 in London.
The event was convened by the British Group Inter-Parliamentary Union, the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute, and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on International Law, Justice and Accountability. It brought together parliamentarians, legal experts, and civil society organisations to discuss priorities and cooperation plans for 2026.
During the discussion, NGO Tribunal presented its ongoing advocacy work on accountability for atrocity crimes, including efforts related to the crime of aggression against Ukraine and international legal mechanisms.
The roundtable also explored future parliamentary engagement, ways to strengthen evidence-based policy dialogue, and how civil society can support lawmakers with reliable data and concrete legal and policy proposals.
The participation reinforced the importance of close cooperation between Parliament and civil society in advancing prevention, justice, and support for victims of atrocity crimes.
